Review:

  • “Ari / Ari and South / Best of Central Atolls”: Three very similar trips that all explore the Maldives famous central region which is known for epic underwater landscapes, lots of drift dives and much shark and ray action. 7 – 10 nights. Guest required to have AOW cert & 40+ logged dives.

  • “Fuvamulah – South One Way”: Covers the central, southern and deep south regions all within one epic trip. The Maldives’ deep south has more species of shark than anywhere else in the country as well as the Maldives biggest shipwreck: the 136m long British Liberty! 13 nights. Guests need AOW cert & 60+ Logged Dives.

Nautilus Two is one of the stricter liveaboards in terms of how many logged dives it requires it’s guests to have.

This makes it a great choice for experienced divers who want to spend lots of time on exciting drift dives, cave exploration and other advanced diving. Nitrox is available on request.

On all trips, kayaks and stand up paddleboarding are available and there is also a beach bbq and welcome cocktails.

Onboard, there’s a large sundeck from which to take in the stunning panoramic views.

But perhaps the most popular common area is at the bow of the boat, where the cool breeze and shade is nicely complimented by a hot tub.

The indoor saloon features comfortable furniture, ac and a well stocked bar that serves beer on tap and a selection of wines.

This is also the location of the dining hall, where local and international cuisine is showcased atop a beautiful five meter long ex-fishing dhoni. Talk about dining in style!

Each of the 12 cabins has a large double bed and a single desk plus a mirror, wardrobe, AC and  an ensuite bathroom with a massage shower.

Nautilus Two is the third cheapest liveaboard and offers excellent value for money.

It does feel a little more luxurious than it’s cheaper counterparts Amba and Princess Rani, thanks to the kayaks, hot tub and massage showers!

In my honest opinion, if you are looking for an affordable Maldives liveaboard; yet one that has just a little more – and you’re an experienced diver looking to get the most out of the Maldives more challenging dive sites, Nautilus Two is the best choice to go for.

The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable and they really seem to go out of their way to provide guests with a truly memorable experience.

"We had an amazing boat (aesthetic, comfort, attention to details, and lots of space); all members of the crew were very friendly, competent, and helpful; the diving programme was very well organised, diving guides were highly competent (thank you Isey for wonderful dives!); fellow divers were all very nice people and expert divers, so that there was a really pleasant atmosphere on board and under water."

"The knowledgable and flexible diving staff - a couple times we had to make slight alterations to the dive sites we'd planned to go to either because of weather or because they'd be too busy with other boats. The alternative dive sites were just as good, and we always saw something interesting or new!"

“The dives were amazing, thanks to Hampek and Ziad (dive guides), it was a pleasure to dive with you. The whale shark we saw at the end of the dive is an exceptional memory…

We also saw manta rays, eagle rays, gray or white tip sharks, napoleons, dolphins, but also nudibranchs, pipefishes, beautiful corals… 38 dives in total, including 2 at night.

The Dhoni staff was very kind to help us outfit us. The room was spacious and clean, the bed comfortable. The food was delicious: eggs cooked every morning according to our preferences, typical and varied food. The service was impeccable. Thanks to Mister B. for his cocktails. I highly recommend this diving cruise !!!”
