The liveaboard of Princess Rani.

Review:

  • Extreme South: Explores the Maldives deep south, where in addition to the reef sharks, whale sharks and reef manta rays found elsewhere in the Maldives, divers can also see tiger sharks, thresher sharks and black oceanic mantas! 7 Nights.

  • Classic Maldives: Explores the central region; the Maldives most famous area. Lots of manta cleaning stations and reef sharks as well as a varied underwater landscape of many pinnacles, walls, caves and overhangs. 7 Nights.

  • Addu – Male: Starts in the Maldives deep south and works up through the south region and into the central region. Divers get to explore more regions, but spend less time at each one. 8 Nights.

Itineraries are flexible, with specific dive sites chosen each day depending on the season, weather conditions and what guests want to see!

Unlike other liveaboards, Princess Rani doesn’t follow fixed routes and instead tailors each safari to get the best trip every time. This means she stays well away from the tourist circuit.

As well as scuba diving, guests can enjoy a beach bbq, welcome cocktails, snorkelling and several land excursions!

The highly experienced crew of 13 includes a naturalist guide, experienced dive instructors and a talented chef. All the staff are very friendly and strive to provide guests with an awesome trip.

There’s 3 sundecks, with loungers and beanbags; plus a large, indoor saloon featuring a stylish bar, paid internet, and video entertainment.

Meals are served either at the indoor dining area or al-fresco on the main deck, with a constantly changing menu of exciting and inspired cuisine.

There are ten immaculate double or triple cabins equipped with poster beds, AC and ensuite bathrooms plus ocean views.

Princess Rani is a great cheap liveaboard and especially shines through with her “extreme south” trips. They are the best cheap dive safaris with which to discover the Maldive’s rarely visited deep south; which has more species of shark than anywhere else in the country!

Very well organised and very nice crew. The food was an awesome surprise, the best food we've had in the maldives. The dive sites were very well picked and guided. Great to see tiger sharks, grey reef, hammerhead and also some cool small stuff.
