Thai Sea

There’s no denying that Thai Queen is a little smaller than other liveaboards, but with a maximum guest capacity of 12, she doesn’t feel cramped.

The sundeck has plenty of mattresses and partial shading – it’s the perfect place to catch the sunset at the end of the day with an icy beer or cocktail.

There’s also a large al fresco dining zone with a BBQ area, TV, DVD player and speakers.

In total there are 6 cabins: 5 “standard” twin singles and 1 master cabin, all of which have shared bathroom facilities – it’s worth mentioning that the cabins are fan only – none of them have aircon.

However, don’t let this be too much of a concern! In addition to having fans, the cabins are well ventilated and there will usually also be a sea breeze!

In between diving, guests can look forward to land excursions and snorkeling as well as make use of the kayaks and stand up paddleboards.

(The only other liveaboards to have kayaks are The Junk and Merdeka 3). 

It’s also worth mentioning that Thai Sea is one of the only two Thai liveaboards to offer free Nitrox (with the other being Pawara). 

The friendly and welcoming staff are on hand to make your trip a memorable one, with the experienced dive guides taking small groups of up to 4 divers.

Thai Sea operates 3 – 5 night long trips to the Similan and Surin islands including Richelieu Rock – the countries’ most famous dive site.

Many of the Similan and Surin dives feature spectacular hard and soft coral, with turtles, black tip reef sharks and leopard sharks being commonly seen as well as seahorses, blue spotted stingrays and cephalopods.

Also, on some months, Thai Sea operates 6 night long trips to the north of the Surins, within Burmese waters. A great choice for the budget diver!
