Marco Polo Review

MV Marco Polo is one of the most popular Thai liveaboards out there and operates 6 night dive trips to the Andaman Sea to a maximum of just 12 guests.

At 23 meters long, she was custom built for diving with a large covered dive deck and camera rinse sinks.

Dive itineraries focus around the Similan and Surin islands with plenty of spectacular reefs, fish, turtles and reef sharks as well as manta rays and whale sharks at certain times of year.

There are a total of 22 dives, 5 of which are night dives and certified divers can also enjoy free nitrox!

There is a “Party Deck” room for plenty of relaxation with a cool shady area that leads down to the salon with TV and music.

Alex

Hi, I’m Alex.

I’m the creator of Diving Squad, a scuba diving travel blog shaped by a five-year odyssey spent diving and drifting through Southeast Asia, Latin America, and parts of Europe.

In 2023, I landed in Panglao, Bohol — and loved it so much I ended up staying. I’ve been based here ever since, working as a PADI Scuba Diving Instructor, guiding dives and teaching courses, while continuing to build Diving Squad.

When I’m not in the water, I’m usually editing underwater photos and footage, planning the next trip, or cruising around Bohol — but never for long before the reefs pull me back.
